A Japanese green tea with the soft and malted taste. Refreshing and comforting, it is composed of growths of tea born 3 seasons earlier.

Kukicha, “Tea the 3 year old”


To carry out this tea, the brushwood of 3 year old tea of age undergoes a torrefaction flash (less than 20 seconds) which develops the flavors, decreases the bitterness and preserves the product.

Refreshing, the tea roasted Kukicha offers wooded and scented with amber flavors which evoke hazel nut. Its low content theine (< 0.6%) makes an ideal tea of it consume of the morning at the evening. It can be consumed hot, tepid, cold with frozen while preserving the same gustatory pleasure.

Tips

You can carry out two infusions with the same tea. The second infusion will be slightly less less vigorous.

Indication

This Kukicha tea comes from the prestigious soil of Uji where the most renamed teas of Japan are produced. The setting out of sachet is on the spot carried out in order to guarantee to the tea all its authenticity and its freshness. Use

  • 1st infusion : to make infuse 4 spoons has coffee (5 G) of Kukicha tea in 600 ml of water with 95°C during 3 minutes.
  • 2nd infusion : to re-use the same sheets of tea and to again make them infuse in 600 ml of water into 95°C during 3 minutes.

Composition

100% torrefied Brushwood of tea (the CAMELIA sinensis) resulting from the organic farming.
